Moving to Renhold
Renhold is a popular village with good access back into Bedford’s town centre. The village has a shop and local pub and is a short drive from Bedford’s Southern bypass for the A1 and M1.
The average asking price in the village is £625,455. At the moment there is a grade II listed three-bedroom property on the market for £445,000 with agent Michael Graham. It retains many period features such as exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace.
Renhold planning applications
If you are planning to move to Renhold and build your own home, council planning permission meetings are held on a regular basis. Simply visit http://www.bedford.gov.uk for details.
Renhold Lower School, Putnoe Lower School and Hazeldene Lower School are all considered good.
The Polhill Arms in Wilden Road is a good local pub, dogs are welcome and Greene King cask ales are served along with guest ales and cider.
You have easy access to the A1 and M1. Bedford St Johns, Bedford and Kempston Hardwick stations are all within six miles of the village. Trains to London St. Pancras take approximately 35 minutes and Luton airport is a twenty-mile drive by car.
